Fathers Advancing Towards Healthy and Effective Relationships

This program offers SNAP® and case management services for those fathers:

Fathers transitioning home from county jail and/or previously incarcerated fathers.

Fathers involved in Chapter 39 proceeding related to their children.

Prioritizing fathers residing in one of Florida’s 427 Opportunity Zones (low-income community); and

Fathers with children ages 17 and younger as SNAP® includes fathers and their children ages 6 to 12.

Target Population

• Recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and/or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
• Recipients of Re-employment Assistance.
• Previously incarcerated.
• Incarcerated Fathers.
• Residents in one of Florida’s 427 Opportunity Zones (economically distressed communities).
• Fathers participating in batterers intervention programs (BIP).
• Fathers involved in Chapter 39 proceeding relating to children.
• Fathers with children 17 and younger will be prioritized.
