Bishop C. E. Glover is the eloquent and loving pastor of Mount Bethel Baptist Church, affectionately called “The Mount.”

He is a dynamic leader and a divine preacher of the gospel and is an extraordinary example of a God sent man who has deeply penetrated the hearts and souls of many through his leadership. A man of vision; he has a passion for ministry and that passion includes sharing with and caring for a suffering community and providing a place to relieve that pain. Confirming his passionate commitment to the body of Christ, Dr. Glover is an ordained priest and was consecrated to the office of Bishop under the order of the International Bishops Conference, USA where Archbishop LeRoy Bailey, Jr. serves as the overseer.

Bishop Glover believes the liberation of an individual comes through education. Thus, he has earned an undergraduate degree from Bethune-Cookman College, now Bethune-Cookman University, in Daytona Beach, Florida; a Master of Divinity degree from the Morehouse School of Religion, Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, Georgia; a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He was also honored by Bethune-Cookman University with a Doctor of Divinity degree.

As senior pastor of “The Mount”, Bishop Glover has been instrumental in developing the lives of those in the congregation and in the community. His approach to ministry is holistic and he is intentional in ministering to the whole person–from the cradle and beyond. Bishop Glover is the co-founder (along with Lady Beulah Glover) of Mount Bethel Christian Academy, and the founding president of Prevention Central. An accomplished author and humanitarian, his services to the church and the community have afforded him numerous awards and he is sought out throughout the country as a preacher and lecturer in the areas of stewardship and prayer. Dr. Glover is on the Board of Directors of Morehouse School of Religion and he is a member Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

He and his lovely wife of forty-eight years, Lady Beulah R. Glover, have been blessed with three charming daughters; LaSonya (Kevin), Crystal, and April, three beautiful granddaughters; Taleah Alexandria, Kajra Clarynn, Kyleigh Skye and two handsome grandsons; Khamari Elijah and Kingston Kajir.
